In April 2008, the Odessa Klezmer Band was honored to be part of the Lakewood BlueClaws pre-game festivities commemorating the 60-year anniversary of the founding of the state of Israel.  The band was invited back in 2009 to play for the Israel Day celebration.  The BlueClaws regularly celebrate all the heritages within Ocean County and we are also grateful to them for their involvement in the Ocean County community.
